This project was to create something that solved a problem. For example, people often take escalators instead of stairs. This was an unhealthy choice, and the people who created this knew that. They decided that people like fun. That maybe if they could somehow make the stairs fun, more people would take them. Below is the video.
I knew what I wanted to make right away! I love all the fun prints and patterns of Duct Tape, combined with the endless possibilities of what I could make, so this seemed perfect. I wanted to solve the problem of always loosing little things, Such as, hair ties,
bobby pins,
earrings,
bobby pins,
earrings,
This was a problem that I could solve! First, I set off to buy some new Duct Tape...
I found many great tutorials, but ended up making my own version of the product. Here are my supplies that I used...
The reason I used Ziploc baggies was to create the base of my coin purse. I covered the baggie with one type of Duct Tape, all the way around it. Then, I used the glitter kind to make a sort of trim on it. It turned out GREAT!
As I have been writing this post, I've realized it is my last. This for some people would be seen as a sad time, and in some ways it is. But what I'm focusing on is the future because of this quote:
Because I have realized that this is the message I have been trying to get across all along, in some ways. That just because a project or this blog stops, it doesn't mean that life stops. It means that there will be more opportunities for great things. More chances, more shots, more risks to take. As the baseball enthusiast I am, I can't help myself from saying this, but you just have to keep swinging your bat. You have to because sometimes there will be balls thrown at you as another chance, but sometimes there will be those nasty curves and strikes, and you will have to keep swinging. You just do because one of those nasty pitches meant to throw you off your game may just be hit out of the park. Keep swinging your bat.
